You're a shill or failing to see the bigger picture because you are blinded by a false dichotomy. The economy has been fucked for two generations, it has finally come to a head. Any political regime is playing musical chairs with the debt trap. They can at best provide crumbs for their respective bases to curry favor for reelection. Republicans lately cannot even get this right. None are capable of actually solving any problems. To solve the debt would be political suicide and would likely require system failure before any meaningful entitlement reform can be enacted. The solution to hypergamy and the young not having children; demanding they leave their parents basement and get a 16$/hr retail job when houses are costing half a million and daycare is a second mortgage. Trump was always going to fail, he probably did the math himself and opted to be the heel. Changing color of the reigning political establishment cannot effect change, yet outside of violence no other recourse is available to us. Should we vote for a blue AIPAC candidate instead? One who would blow up the deficit with green energy and gay sex initiatives? Many saw Trump as the last chance, reluctant voters. Going down the path as we are is not soothing these people. Only pain remains available. We will ping pong back and forth a few times trying to get the correct color and each time it fails the people will get more and more agitated.
