For those looking for a highly paid career which allows 80%-90% of your time to be work from home may I suggest the field I am in which is construction estimating. A degree in civil/structural engineering or even the more easy route construction management is all you need.

In your junior stage of your career you will need to be in the office and on site learning, but once you are 4-5 years in and experience you don't need to be around others apart from site visits.

I am currently working 35 hour weeks with usually one day required do a site walk for a tender while earning $140k AUD + super in Sydney in my mid early 30's, 90% of what I price is commercial/retail for supermarkets and shopping centers.

It is also jeet proof as you need local knowledge of methodologies, a bit of local people skills, local rates and attending some site walks in person.
