You were getting prepared for the flight to Centria. When you announced that anyone who wished to come with you could do so, there was immediate discussion and more than a few whispers about that surprise they were planning for you.

Herta, of course, wanted to be with you whenever possible.

"Hey, um, Herta?" Mel approached the goddess. "If you're leaving then how is the, uh, you know, the totally-not-a-gift thing gonna get completed in time?"

"Eh, don't worry about it." Herta waved her off. "I'll figure something out."

Ayane, Bertha, and Yumi also ended up tagging along. Ayane wouldn't miss an opportunity to meet her family again, Bertha because this was one of her 'clingy' days, and Yumi wanted to see the city lights again. The ghost girl insisted that "It-it's not because I wanna be with you or anything!" all the while with a blue blush coloring her face.

Ruby Rose was torn between going with you or helping with the surprise for your wives had been planning. Eventually her self-proclaimed web-spinning won out as she convinced herself that this was the more complicated choice to take between the two (while also 'interpreting' your amusement as an order for her to remain in your estate for a 'scheme' you were plotting). She also offhandedly mentioned how she'd attempt to remotely connect the telegraph tower from here to Centria, though she made no promises.

Gerty, after having a back and forth with you about what you wanted her to do (a simple 'Do you want to come with me or not?' was only good enough to make her reply that she'd unquestioningly follow any order you gave her), remained here to continue practicing with the clankers to purge the Monster Rooms.

Mel was obviously still doing things for your surprise, and remained here to do just that. Though she'd fall back on her excuse of 'practicing fae magic' whenever you teased her about it.

Cattleya was busy with organizing materials, which had incrementally gotten worse as the weeks passed. She was also helping out with whatever celebration they were planning for you, as you distinctly recall hearing Ruby mention that "With Bertha gone, that Cat will have to fill her place doing the heavy lifting".

It was cute to see them scurry around as they tried to figure out what the most optimal way of celebrating you would be.

The wives of yours that were gonna remain in the estate wished you the best as they hugged you.

"Come back soon, Master!" Mel had a sad smile.

"Safe travels, sir!" Though Gerty tried to have a strong face, she nonetheless seemed a bit anxious to see you leave.

"Don't keep us waiting, alright guv?" Cattleya meowed with a softer tone than usual.

"I can assure you, my gallant Master, that this mansion shall be in pristine condition upon your return." Despite Ruby's smugness you wouldn't be surprised if she spent all day in the Control Room. She'd already begun the archive you made her do, if the interviews and questions she'd ask you and your wives were any indication.
