So now that I got this gay title without using Mibibi, I am going to list all the shit this game gets wrong with combat because I am in fact a certified expert now.
>Enemy telegraphing is HORRIBLE without flashes and shows exactly why the flashes had to be added to the game
>Effects are too fucking flashy and blind you 99% of the time (looking at you, Yi Xuan), leading to you being unable to see what's going on and thus have to rely on the flashes.
>Enemies SHOULD NOT have unlimited turn rate. Far too many enemies have a leaping airborne attack (Pompey, Typhon, Rampant Brute) where the enemy will literally perform a U-Turn midair to hit you
>Thanatos exists when he shouldn't.
>NO ENEMY SHOULD EVER GO INVULVERNABLE, EVER
>anomaly should instantly apply, even if the character has been swapped off of
>enemies should not have "anomaly impervious" states (e.g. Marionette) where the gauge sits at full but won't proc until the game decides to allow it
>Hitboxes are absolute jank, with Doppelganger Jane being the worst offender. Seemingly Mihoyo didn't allow attack damage boxes to have any sort of vertical reach, meaning if an enemy is getting ragdolled in the air (or bouncing around like Jane), you simply can't connect hits on them.
>Certain agents like SAnby and Trigger have buttfuck atrocious animations. Trigger should have a powered long range shot as her EX Special, not that faggot homo "run to kiss the enemy despite being a sniper" animation that takes years to play out. SAnby needs her entire kit reworked back to the original beta design, as well as having her Silver Star buff gauge apply to her directly instead of enemies (e.g. be able to hit a bunch of mooks, and even if they die, you still gain charge to dump later)
>Tower is aids, the HP bloat is insane. It all came down to basically doing nonstop flawless runs because even a single errant scratch would instantly kill you.
