If all you know about ancient Greece is stoicism and the concept of Eternal Return, you're on the same level as people who wrote Amphoreus.
Its Hellenistic Greece elements are skin deep (e.g. le funny boulder man and concept of futility, le funny sparta man, le funny Meditations man, le funny cave pf Plato) for the sake of "well it's a simulation, not real ancient Greece" yet if it's a simulation it had next to no sci-fi aesthetic or plot elements (except I guess the "nymphs" communicating with kaomojis).
It's a halfassed attempt at a story no matter how you slice it.
