He's gonna be back but his role won't be that big unfortunately, had he been nearly as popular as Law, he'd have gotten a whole arc or 2 dedicated to him like Law did, and just like how Law's fruit was made relevant with the whole immortal surgery, so would've have his fruit been made relevant with it being revealed that a past user shifted the planet's poles(this was in Oda's concept book)
