This kit has been a bit tough, given its from 1996. I did also fuck up the arm pauldrons on the EVA. I've already seam-welded them on and they are almost mirrors, but the vents belong on the outside of the arm rather than inside.
With the way the kit is built they're impossible to take off now without re-doing all my seam welding so they stay that way oh well, it's a really minimal detail.
I just have some more seam clean-up to do. Then its on to cleaning, airbrushing/detail work, top-coating, panel-lining and I ordered the RG waterslides for some extra details and finally finishing it off with some matte top-coat. Super excited to be almost done. This kit was originally just going to be a snap fit with some clean up and it's gone entirely off the rails.
