Mark my words, Lucy's issues will go up in smoke the moment she sits back down at the table. She was on increasingly good terms with everyone until Mike "reset" her, and him getting booted will put her back on that path. As far as everyone in-comic and out is concerned, Mike bears sole responsibility for Lucy's maladjustment.

I reread Unwanted Gift for the example here, and damn, it's pretty hilarious that Lucy's birthday gift is Mike being miserable and alone. Like it's explicitly her birthday chapter, not just a chapter that happens to fall on her birthday, and all that happens is she girlbosses on Mike and everyone ignores Mike in favor of her. Did we really have to go in this huge loop just to end up where we already were five years ago?
