>b-but you voted for it!
>fell for it again award
1. Voting isn't real. Nobody votes for anything
2. Democracy is a more insidious form of totalitarianism, because it keeps the masses docile and deluded enough to believe that they can enact change through their own actions
3. Worse still, "democracy" allows the masses to even take some of the blame when things inevitably go wrong. When a crooked career politician inevitably does something unethical, illegal, unpopular, then the blame can be placed on the people who (allegedly) voted that politician in
4. Even if you hypothetically vote in a politician, all you're doing is swapping a figurehead. The machine still carries on and does what it intended
5. Democracy facilitates the divide and conquer strategy of the elite, pitting red vs blue (or whatever political parties exist) so the masses can fight one another instead of those controlling them. At least in a totalitarian system, it is clear to the masses that it's you VS them, that you have no power or control, or anything of that sort
6. Protesting doesn't work. The only protests that worked were ones that protested for what the elite already wanted to implement
7. Democracy cannot exist when state propaganda is televised through every screen and digital device. Those who control the media control the minds, and therefore control how people vote. Few are truly informed when voting
