So uhh, why are there 2 GFL generals again?

Saw this game got added to Steam recently and got curious. I've seen it around for a while but only ever read the doujins. Does anyone actually play this game for the gameplay, or is it just a vn simulator to add to the immersion when jerking off to the doujins?
