Well sh*t. Yeah, that's really strong. I see why it's a newbie trap. There's no store for this, and there's no indicator that awkward stuff like this would drop from the enemies, even though the other Demon stuff I got dropped (which all seemed pretty normal statwise); the strongest "visible" gear available was gold, leading one to take that path.
