Let's say it's today and I'm a gypsy jeet from india and I go to England.
I pick up Harry Potter volume 1, then I write my own version of volume 2 where Harry and Ron are degenerate furry faggots and Hermione is transgender.
Then I kidnap and rape an Englishwoman and give my books to the half-White bastard child.
Then those bastard children multiply for few generations and then hit a Harry Potter convention saying that we achsually wrote the original books, that the JK Rowling ones are non-canon and non-original while the furry transgender version is the original ones.
