I said that's not where your focus is the majority of the time, to dodge and parry enemy attacks you look at what the enemies are doing. If you're staring at your character the whole time you're gonna get hit a lot. You're usually not checking out your Dark Souls characters fashion in the middle of a boss fight, but it's fun to have in the game
