Marin has probably killed off-screen, as for Konoha there's no reason to let her go free. Regardless of how much she knows, she's a loose end to an organizations eyes and there's no reason for an organization of assassins to simply be nice. Once you've lost your purpose, they'll just kill you. Makes everything easier.
