I don't think persona characters have a place in verses debates. They are boarderline "cyberspace" characters where they only have powers in certain conditions in certain spaces, it like saying you can beat Mike Tyson because your world of warcraft character has better feats then him.

A fight between the strongest persona characters and the strongest SMT characters wouldn't even be a fight as someone like the demifiend could just destroy mementos itself just like he destroyed his own universe.
