while i agree the pendulum is now swinging back to the left/libertarians there is no popular Maoism or Leninism, the furthest left the mainstream will go is the social democracy of bernie, aoc, zohran, and i imagine if one of them or new soc dem got in power they would be a disappointment. Im thinking into the far future, when the soc dem disappoints and leads to the end of our populism detour and the return of centrist neoliberals and neocons.
