It prevents riots, crime surges, and civil disobedience from exploding when the economy shudders.

Even Thatcher knew: cut support too deep, and the natives start burning the scaffolding.

3. Consumer Spending Collapses Without Welfare
Natives on benefits still spend into the economy — food, utilities, rent.

If you kill welfare, you shrink local economic velocity, especially in poor towns.

Businesses die. Debt surges. Demand craters.

Cutting welfare doesn’t just hurt claimants. It tanks the bottom 40% of the economy.

4. It Creates a Political Death Spiral
If you erase native welfare but continue to support migrants/asylum cases, etc. — even through international obligation —
You ignite civil unrest, mass distrust, and system delegitimisation.

This causes radicalisation — the kind that creates serious revolutionary instability.

The far-right and the far-left get fuelled by welfare destruction.
Ending it isn’t reform — it’s regime suicide.
