I never felt this desu. I think you just fell into the fujo soulmate propaganda that Phaideis loved to push since 3.1. Their relationship was never that deep, on both sides. I don't even buy into Mydei loving him that deeply and kinda never have. It was always more of a situationship to me, like they could've gone deeper if things were different.
