You don’t own the income, you incorporate as a business that rents houses(A), incorporate another business as your holding company(B). Hold most of your assets in B, everything you do with A, borrow from B, so A is in debt to B (you have to pay debts in order so if anyone ever sues A, it has no assets really and is in debt to B, so it must pay B before it pays anyone else, just never pay and never collect, this way you are safe from being sued).
Think of your “business expenses” as a tax write off against your income. So if you make 120k in rent, don’t take that as profit, write most of it off with “business lunches” and “business cars”…so you “spent” say 110k on “business things” and you’re really only left with 10k income.
So long story short, you’re not paying taxes on 120k, you dig?
