You guys seem to forget that neowiz is telling the people at GAMFSN to increase spending and players or it's their job.
Frankly, this Meet n Fuck aspect of this game is the only one they could monetize. Monetizing powercreep is suicide, no one cares about My Room, and newbies are showered in tickets and day 1 players haven't spent gems because they never run out of tickets.
They could throw alternate art of character portraits in the gacha (even a static image only like tekken) for f2p to have select art of their favorites AND drain stash at the same time.
People sell their souls for self-expression in the games they like.
