My thing about that particular post is that it’s showing the movement going into Iran. That is drawing the connection that the wars in Syria and the Middle East are soley for Israel’s benefit in that it provides a clearer path to bomb Iran. While this is obviously true it glosses over what I think was the original Hilary State Department plan was, which was to run pipelines and telecom lines through the region for the benefit of everyone involved. That is to say mainly the US. This was unironically a great plan as it puts America’s actual interest first in the region and would have brought more peace and stability had the US acted on it in the first Obama admin. This would have made the US the focal point for industry in the region. Everyone that would wanted to do business on the Afghan-Lebanon Pipeline and Telecom line would have to have gotten along with the US and with each other. Going back to this Hilary-era plan should really be re-explored by the US as a way to open talks with Iran and placate Israel by plying them with the thing jews love most. Money.
