I'd like him more if he didn't resort to crude humor constantly. Legalization has made his weed humor kinda sad and the majority of the stuff he's well known for is made for an audience that's stoned which means it's not very good unless you're drugged up enough that you just don't care. The characters he writes tend to be stupid but this is because his plots are so simple he needs stupid characters to make them seem more complex. However, as I said before his stuff is made for stoners so his plots can't really be too complex or he'd lose his audience.
