Shuichi is the only protag who never actually expressed genuine love to someone. It's either forced to satisfy any girl he's spending time with or non-canon.
Unlike Makoto/Sayaka and Hajime/Chiaki, it's still doubtful whether he actually ever love Kaede, especially with how brief the time they spent together.
He can't be cucked.
