A friend is a friend, a brother is a brother.

A Muslim brother is to me like my blood brother.

It is like speaking to someone you have known your whole life.

The other day I ran into another Muslim, a man here who runs a small shop.

He was so happy to see another Muslim he said Alhamdulilah, that means praise be to God.

He could not stop smiling. Neither could I. I was overjoyed. I get so much hate for being Muslim it was a relief.

The word Muslims use for brother is akhi, it is Arabic for my brother. A friend is a friend, a brother is more than a friend.
