nta but he is proving you wrong saying he made unique art, just because the art style isn't completely unique(it probably is since it's probably different from the source styles) doesn't mean the image itself isn't unique.
also you can make AI art using no definite style, or mix multiple styles together to make a new one.

AI is really good at copying old range too, which is cool
