Love and hate are both energies of God, loving creation and what is good, and hating what is evil and those that destroy creation or pervert it
But God's love is itself stonger than the mentioned hate, for the hate is fueled by His love for creation: so muchso that even though man turned against God, He still sought to bring man back to original state and to fulfill their respective goal— that is, to become gods among God and to eternally be in relation with God and His creation; to do that, however, humanity's nature had to be mended. This could not have occured if someone with the same fallen nature intervened: God Himself needed to enter history and take up a human essence in order to mend it and to restore mankind. This is the role that Christ Jesus bore as the Saviour and Sacrifice for all humans, irregardless of their faults or sins, for they would be forgiven and also forgotten by God if the sinner chose to walk a new path laid out by His ways.
