It's what's popular, I suppose. I do wish there was more variety in these threads, but it is what it is.
I find it funny, though, that you can pretty easily tell which threads are made by women and which ones are made by gays. Women tend to like more bishōnen-types, while gays are a lot more into baras. (personally, I like both kinds of men)
