Should I be crafting submarine repair kits or just buying them?

A stack of 99 costs less than 200k on the MB and my submarines bring back that much gil in a single trip. and they can do, what, 3-4 trips before needing repairs?

i feel like im wasting time crafting these when i can just buy them
