thats probably Odin's 8-legged horse Sleipner, aka 'Slipper'
>inb4 celtic not norse
paganism is a single religion, always has been. it is *the* religion. the which actually applies in reality
the 8-legged horse is obviously not literally a horse with 8 legs, the guy's name is not literally Odin, the guy is not necessarily even a guy at all probably, but these are all symbolic of something intrinsic within nature. theyre employed in this way to make it more palatable for normies.

to better understand the concept, just as an example. at the beginning of the Silmarillion, Eru Iluvatar creates the Ainur, and they begin a great song. But one of theirs is not beautiful like the others, and is repulsive, a discord, but continues nonetheless fucking up the sacred music anyway and ruins the whole ensemble. This Ainur was Melkor, whose name when in Middle Earth was Morgoth, the Master of Sauron.

Eru Iluvatar then uses the song, even with its imperfection, to create Arda (the world in Lord of the Rings)
you see the Sacred Music is both metaphorical and a microcosm for the entire history of Middle Earth, and the story of the process of its existance. it starts out beautiful, a peaceful utopia, then came Melkor's contribution to the Music - Morgoth's coming and the war with the elves of the first age. his defeat, the rise of sauron and fall of numenor after that, sauron's defeat, resurgence, destruction of the ring etc.
