Vtubing is going to die off. Without the culture, and the main allure, then vtubing is no different than regular streaming. Why invest so heavily (thousands of dollars) for a model and rigging when it will impart no advantages?

The only ones that will be able to consistently pull it off for no cost will be AI in the future. The stream itself will be pointless then. You could just have your own personal AI respond to you and entertain you directly.
