Pyrite: "Allowing slavery differs from place to place, but legally all are required to help recapture any runaways. That's what I understand. I don't know much about politics."
Hopeful: "He's right. Spuhr Valley doesn't allow slavery, but technically, if you adopt a child there and go somewhere that lets you sell dependents into slavery, that's A-OK in the eyes of the law."

Anon: "I understand. Is it possible we can get these two back to their mother?"
