I had some ruminations on this piece from LB7.

Sometimes I feel there can be quite a bit to be gathered indirectly on these lore dumps, when they address a subject of interest even if only tangentially.

They weren't explicit but the allusion to Bazett is fairly obvious. The way the Mesoamerican deities were exposed as bio-organisms carried by a God Carrier vessel makes me wonder how much the Celtic or Irish pantheon mirrors the Mesoamerican ones, considering Bazett is a similar God Carrier herself (her profile does mention her carrying a part of Mananann's consciousness which explains also her being an Alter-Ego pseudo). Following up, Da Vinci says the origins of the Fraga family's organism may not be the same, which leaves the conclusion that the fungi or fillaments responsible for deification by some of the Irish gods might have either come from the earth itself, or they came to earth from a different celestial body. It makes me wonder if other gods such as Lugh, Nuada, the Dagda and the Mórrighan would manifest through God Carriers as well.

Interestingly, when Fionn contacts us early in the chapter, he says his chief God has asked him to contribute and not let Odin have all the glory (of helping PHH) for himself. Fionn in particular has Nuada's bloodline within him, and Cuchulainn is the son and reincarnation of Lugh (while also being part of the Dagda's lineage), so there might be some wiggle room to work the God Carrier concept with either figure.

Another curious similarity between both pantheons, is the ability or authority to cause a reversal of events. Tezcatlipoca even through his God Carrier can invoke his authority to bring a possible event of the future into the present, and such reversal is extremely similar to the causality reversal effect of Gae Bolg (which has been likened to an authority before) and Fragarach's ability to impose its blade first after another triggering event, even reversing the order of events if need be.
