>The VAs can announce their old ZZZ roles without fear since SAG stopped being retards finally.
Actually no, SAG is still enforcing Global Rule 1, the "collective work refusal" was unrelated to any strike action being taken by SAG and the end of the official strike that SAG has announced does not equate to a return to work for hoyoverse VA's.

Mihoyo was never officially under strike by SAG, instead they pressured the VA's working there to make all possible attempts to convert their projects to union-only projects, an infeasible goal for a multi-national project. The VA's working on Mihoyo games all signed contracts with Hoyo under direct violation of Global Rule 1 of SAG-AFTRA (work only on projects staffed exclusively by union workers), but that rule was not heavily enforced at the time. Now, the union is enforcing it, meaning the VA's cannot return to their roles until all non-union workers on the projects join the union or are fired.

By the way, SAG has claimed constantly that this was a collective action taken by the individual workers from their union, without their oversight, but in leaked chat channels it has been revealed that SAG was actively trying to flip Mihoyo to a union-only company, effectively throwing it's workers under the bus with the leverage that all those workers have technically always been in violation of their rules and therefore can be ejected from the union.

Mihoyo VA's that are a part of SAG have two options
>Work for Mihoyo and get paid but probably ejected from the guild
>Never return to work for Mihoyo, get replaced, and hope that the guild actually gives a shit about them enough to find them work in the future, in an ecosystem where above 70% of jobs are non-union.
