There are actually some improvements to the worldmap and how seamless traversal is compared to P5
You can actually cross the street in Shibuya for example, or when meeting with someone you may actually follow them around
And the reason I said X specifically is because the dungeons (that I played) in P5X were better, more thought out and involved more real gameplay mechanics than in Metaphor.
Which is just unbelievable.
