over the years I've noticed it's troons and others with 'cluster B' personality disorders who come here when they've burned all other options. They get shunned from Reddit, they get shunned from Facebook, Twitter, et al. People don't want to interact with them anymore for any reason. We've all seen people like that online. This is the last place that will provide them any kind of direct interaction. IRL these people are overtly spottable as existential fuckups. Anyway, this is the LAST place that will engage with them or provide any kind of stimulation. They become hyper-obsessed with it and post as much bait and shill and troll as hard as possible. And then they drop off and others take their place. Maybe they rope. Maybe it's too much alcohol and pills. Maybe the fetty catches up with them. this is their last stop. I try to keep that in mind. The people who hate us the most will spend their last 6-8 weeks obsessed with us before they die. I don't mind them so much in that light. Nothing can stop them so I try to find the beauty in it, but I'm maudlin like that. We're their hospice ward.
