80% of 4chan posts are made by 20% of the users. Most people, despite how it may seem, just don't engage with threads bagging out stuff that they like. just adding "cuck" to the wordfilters blocks over half of the shitpost chains. Point is you can never actually tell how many 4chan users are nothing like the stereotypical 4chan user. But you can tell when a small number of people are just reposting the same things across multiple threads to try and push a narrative about what 4chan thinks since they never bother to change the filename and md5 data between reposts
