Croatia derives much of its GDP from tourism, but they have also developed a pretty good industry as well (pharmaceuticals, food, cars - Rimac). Slovenia is a very industrialized country and someone working in Austria wouldn't inherently boost Slovenian GDP, since that money would have to be spent within Slovenia for that to be the case, so only a fraction of that money would boost Slovenian GDP assuming the person spends that money upon return, but since the living expenses in Austria are much worse than in Slovenia, and the wages in Slovenia are great as well, this would probably net a smaller boost to the GDP than simply working and spending money within Slovenia itself. You, again, have no clue what you're talking about. Slovenian education is also much better than yours based on performance results, actually it's among the best in Europe based on scores from the past few years.
