You should get easily acquirable textures first, before you move on to models and objects. You stare at a circular fountain, watching the water move and churn. It's much smaller than the one that the Digimon were stomping around in yesterday. The water makes you think of the vast oceans that you saw in your book. There's nothing like that here. The biggest body of 'water' you've seen is the sewer. There's nothing you can do with the texture of it, however. You can't freely suck up fluids and stuff them in your storage inventory, nor strip attritbutes from them. You move on to a clothing shop next. Those are almost entirely servitor-run, as outfit design isn't really a practical field.

Today's selection of premium gimmick goods are as garish as ever. There's some kind of jacket covered in golden neon trim and silver spikes, along with electric blue pants. It's like a Champion-level version of your own outfit. Then there's a red dress with a massive hem that flows behind it, ending with four orbs that hover in the air and lift the train above the ground. And then there's a gigantic mascot suit. You do a double take as you move past the store.

"What is THAT?!"

"Some kind of bear costume...? Why do they have it here?"

"Nobody walks around in this, surely. What's the audience for it?"

"I don't think there even is one. A lot of this stuff is randomly pulled from some outfit archive, so people have something to spend credits on."

"It's a bit bigger than my Porcupamon form, even."

You slowly set foot into the store, eyeing the credits bar in your inventory. Surely not...

Five minutes later, you've evaded the robotic clerk's attempt to take your measurements, yelled at it for trying to scan you (and your bad leg), and have exited the store with the item newly tied to your user ID. What a waste of credits. But surely this sort of cover for your Digimon partner will see a use someday.
