To be fair, he did two things wrong:
>wife never drank alcohol
1. Don't let your wife have your first experience with alcohol around a bunch of horny guy in a hotel room
>gets wasted, chatty and flirty like sitting in the lap of other dudes
2. Not literally physically pulling her away the instant she starts being drunk and flirty. At that point he should have been like 'Alright its time for bed' and took her away even if she was fighting. Then her anger goes towards him. I'm sure some of those guys would have been like 'what the hell bro dude' but you just ignore them. This requires training your wife and strong trust. But when he didn't do that, he showed he was a weakling and that let her walk all over him. And she was in a situation where a bunch of horny nerds were lusting after her, which probably never happened to her in her entire life besides her husband. So she was feeling like Superman and went for it. Of course you shouldn't marry a woman that acts like this in the first place, which is why you shouldn't ignore all the red flags while dating. Just really bad behavior from both of them- of course much more so obviously the wife.
