This unit is a designated squad member acting in a subordinate role to Snake Eyes.++” Until now, you would have thought that Gunner Nines was literally incapable of sounding nervous. “++Advisement. We should inform designation Snake Eyes of the proposed operation. Addendum Advisement. Starting with the nominally positive projections.++”
“Designated squad member, huh? So is Crane, so is your friend Petal. But we both know that isn’t the same thing as what Mama Snake just said at all.” Hail’s expression returns to it’s default grim look, but he doesn’t seem particularly concerned at how you’re taking this little reveal. “It’s alright, scrapper. The plan was to tell her anyway.”
Perhaps most disturbingly of all, Nines didn’t answer immediately when you ordered him tell you what was going on. He seems to be waiting to see how you’ll react to Hail.
