I just find weird how little they bother with FGO. Most other gachas I play have sidestories for the majority of the cast. In fact having 2 small stories per character (like exploring a cave together or displaying skills fishing at a lake) seem normal.
Meanwhile in FGO once a while we just get a servant and that's it. You are at mercy of the chapter and if it's someone like Sakurai the servant may barely get any development at all.
Then the servants already in might get interludes in months. This kind of thing isn't resource intensive. You can reuse most of the assets in the game and all you need is the writer to cook a mini story. Why can't we have more of that? It isn't like all interludes need to be Tristan-tier involving the events of his chapter with him developing 3 Gifts out of nowhere to foreshadow Morgan (who got retconned). You could have more like Sigurd's exploring his misunderstanding at defeating Fafnir in a party of 3 thinking that means he got weaker when in truth he learned to rely on people.
