It’s been a long time since our last singles match, and I’ve always thought the momentum from the Next Generation Tournament has been incredible. Since Wakana made it through the preliminaries, I definitely can’t underestimate her momentum or skill. On the other side of the bracket, I haven’t had a singles match with Kamiyu in a while either, so of course I want to face her too. But last summer, I lost to Yuki Arai and didn’t make it into the best four, so this year, I want to beat Yuki-chan and aim for the best four—or even higher. I’m going to make this summer a fiery one!"

But on the flip side, I want to use that experience and aim to win the Princess Cup this time. If I can get past the first round, waiting for me will be Yuki Arai, who knocked me out of this tournament last time, and Kamifuku, who is my tag partner in Ober Eats. I don’t know which one will advance, but I want to face either of them. I’m absolutely determined to get through the first round and keep winning."
