>Talk to the strange girl.

Clover sniffles. She tries to focus, but the weight of all the thoughts in her head is too distracting.

>> χ (M3 Perception roll: 6 – 10 = -4 = Failure) << (Notice if anything is off about the girl.)
>> χ (M5 Perception roll: 88 – 10 = 78 = Success) << (Scan the library.)

The library is silent. It’s as if there’s no one else here. There are a few people, of course, scattered throughout, but they barely seem like they’re there.

The new girl seems a little ethereal. Perhaps it’s just Clover's state of mind, perhaps it’s the fact that her nose is kinda plugged up, but she can’t pick up any scents from her. White was an unnatural hair color for young girls, yet for some reason, on her, it seems natural.

“w-who are you…?” Clover’s voice is hoarse.

“That’s an interesting question!” The girl wears a smile, but it almost seems painted on. “You know, I could tell you anything, and all you’d be able to do is take me at my word! What do you really learn about someone through their name, anyway?”

“…y-you learn what to call them…?”

The girl taps her chin. “Very true, that can be useful at times. How about this, you can call me Aristotle! Aris for short, as a cute nickname, but Aristotle is way cooler!”

Clover hugs her knees tighter. “…okay…”

The white-haired girl leans forward, looking at the wolf-girl closely. “Now that I’ve answered your question, how about you answer mine? What’s got you so down? Conversations are built on back and forth, after all!”

Clover blinks.

>Tell her?
