Hungary proceeds with Russian-linked nuclear project as U.S. lifts sanctions
Hungarian Foreign Minister Péter Szijjártó announced that the United States has lifted sanctions that had been blocking the construction of the Paks II nuclear power plant. The facility is being built in cooperation with Russia’s state-owned nuclear agency, Rosatom.
