The red soil here have too much iron and the grass too much water, excellent for palm oil but terrible for dairy.
All the feed have to be imported and even with federal plan to become sufficient there won't be enough dairy product until at least 2050's.
Palm oil is just too profitable especially now that Ukraine and Russian sunflower oil is out of the cooking oil market driving their price up to 10x.
