Giygas was not an aborted baby, it was an alien that was raised by a couple of humans in Mother 1, then become too powerful that he locked himself inside the Devil's machine so his own power wouldn't destroy his mind.
Then Porky turns out the machine on purpose to fuck up with Giygas and use him to destroy Ness and friends.
Because Porky Minch is the biggest piece of shit and would betray even the concept of evil just to piss off Ness.
