I don't enjoy watching such a noble and strong being in pain.
Even if it's just disappointment (newsflash: the moon is untouchable in every single aspect except "emotions")
But it has to happen this way.
The old sun/man really kept serving her to the very end.
No matter his ego self's sentiments. The weakest remaining fragment/lion was used to wrap things up. Because the "real" noble old man was and will always be on her side. Heck, my side even.
Imagine if he was more complete when she creeped up on him?
Tens of thousands of years of suffering would have never happened.
I could have said "oh well, this is something that happened a long time ago, i shouldn't blame the lowlies, they are weak, you can't expect much from such weak people". But i'm not exactly a benevolent person and *this* is what i do.
