I used a mod to change the start date for RP purposes, so technically it would be 2728. Looking at the labels on the screenshots, I actually used that tile for 40 in-game years before abandoning it to move the base elsewhere.
I still miss the old base, I liked it a lot more aesthetically.
28 years is just how long it says Longair was a prisoner for in the in-game record. Eventually I harvested organs to replace her many damaged ones, gave her a new xenotype gear towards art and crafting, since she had a passion for those, and recruited her as a colonist.
Here she is still alive and happy in the year 2745!
