The way Catti used it would imply that the prophecy is associated with the Angel and not that it is owned by it. This is actually very clear in that line, since there is a clear grammatical distinction between two subjects where one "has" the prophecy (the Angel) and the other "foretold" the prophecy (Time and Space).
Regardless, it seems incredible to argue that the player, or at least the Soul, isn't the Angel after the imagery of the Soul getting trapped in the Angel doll and the repeated use of its Light to solve problems in the Dark World. Gaster has never been associated with Light once, and he certainly doesn't light anyone's way, except possibly through us.
