There we go, resonance; but dear Alice (Brock in this instance) , whatever made you think I was talking about online personas?
I'm about You, behind the computer screen, in your room, in the world you live in outside of a virtual one. That is who this is addressed to.
Here's a question, "You claim to be a private citizen, you have your privacy, your own choices, and that is your decision." Are you a gay man? While you are entitled to have that identity, I wouldn't go to places where that identity is punished as sickness or madness; despite it being perfectly fine where you currently are.
You claim to have right to choose in a mad world, yet you choose to wear a mask and pretend to be a beast. Isn't that strange? Is that not mad? Look out your window, and look at other people, ponder them. Wonder if they are true to themselves, or just "going with the flow" and wonder to yourself "Is going with the flow" madness, or is being true to yourself against the flow madness?
There's a little spark in you that lit up, now its up to you to define it. Do you snuff it out and continue living the flow? Or do you temper it, and staying true to your word, that you have a choice, and a decision. And you needn't tell me what you plan on doing, because, it's your privacy, and accountability in that with whatever you do with it.
After all, all I did, was open a door, and put an inward reflecting mirror, all the while giggling like a clown and saying "No no, I'm quite mad"
